But if you can't walk, ride a bike, or skate board to the Yoga Centre . . .
then you may have to deal with PARKING!
When there is a show at the Princess Theatre it can be
hard to find a park so allow a little extra time for parking generally
if you need it. During the day the street meters are only for 1 hour and our classes are usually 1 1/2 hours long.
Parking can be found in the next block alongside the City Park on Brisbane Street beyond Tamar St - Three hours free 9 to 5 pm. The walk back from the park is a nice warm up for your yoga class!
After 5:30pm you can park in York Town Square also free. Walk up the lane next to Joe's Place for Hair and you are a door from the Yoga Centre.
There is parking next to the Grand Chancellor $6 a day if in before 10 am, a bit expensive by the hour, but cheaper after working hours. Across the road there is parking for$6 a day if you are in by 9 am, and goes to midnight.
Patterson St Carpark @ Geoge is free 3:30 - 5:30pm and $2 after 5:30 per entry, but beware!
They close at 7:00pm sharp Mon Tue Wed unless there is something on at the Theatre.
The metres on the street are free after 5:30 pm, but can be hard to get. Good luck!
